Tomorrow night, the entire world will collectively reduce the amount of electricity it is using for one hour. Earth Hour 2010 starts at 8:30 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m.

In its third year, Earth Hour is already making its mark as an important date. More than 1,000 cities in over 80 countries observed Earth Hour in 2009 by turning off, or dimming, its lights. Check out some cool before, during, and after photos from Boston.com.

Do you think Earth Hour 2010 will be the biggest ever? Are you taking part?
